We are honored and excited to have Tony White share his Astrological STAR*TOONZ characters and the meaning of events in 2019.
International award-winning animator and author, Tony White, shares his love of astrology and explains how his affection for this ancient form of self-awareness wisdom is still as relevant to us today in this modern, digital world as it once was. Tony will explain how astrology works, using animation, his unique STAR*TOONZ characters and other visual imagery. He will also outline the meaning of selected astrological events for us all over the year ahead.
Note: Attendees should bring details of their own “time,” “date,” and “place” of birth, as Tony will select at random one of these and demonstrate the basics of astrological interpretation using one or more of these personal birth charts as a point of reference. Copies of Tony’s introduction to astrology book “The Secret Life of Stars” will be for sale at the event, as will his tarot-like “Astrological Oracle” cards and book.
When the term “astrology” is used most people think of “prediction,” “fortune telling,” or some kind of Zodiac-based “crystal ball reading.” Tony believes that it is none of these things. Instead he asserts that it is a wonderful system of learned self-understanding and life management. He will stress that the better you truly understand yourself, the better life decisions you can make.
Tony was first introduced to the truth of astrology when witnessing his own mother’s miraculous healing (when doctors had effectively given up on her) at the hands an amazing Irish herbalist/astrologer, Samuel H. Weir, in his native London during his teenage years. With memories of his mother being sick and in bed for much of his childhood, Tony became totally amazed that after 18 months of dedicated treatment by Samuel H. Weir, his mother incredibly returned to work at the age of 56 – the first time she had worked for over 20 years!
Amazed by this seemingly miraculous recovery – and at the hands of a person who effectively lived in poverty, rejected fees and recognition, and sold his healing herbs at a lower price than they could be bought anywhere else – Tony asked to study astrology with the great man, which he agreed to do. Concealing his love and knowledge of astrology from all but a few very close family and friends from that time on, Tony finally realized at the end of 2017 that it was time to “come out of the closet” with his interest in astrology and give back to the world the knowledge that had transformed his own life from those early days, many decades before.
Tony hopes that his BEPC presentation on January 21st will give everyone attending a greater understanding of traditional astrology, as well as an awareness of what great truths it holds for us all. It should also be a fun evening of smiles, giggles and an animated glimpse into the astrological trends that 2019 might hold for all of us!
