Performing as Iron & Wine, indie folk singer-songwriter Sam Beam has, over the course of more than 10 years, released five albums, numerous EPs and singles and begun compiling and releasing an Archive Series, a collection of songs written and recorded before taking up the Iron & Wine moniker. Best known for his sparse and always exceptionally literate songs, he is often compared to artists such as Nick Drake, Elliot Smith and Neil Young. He is currently touring behind his 2017 release Beast Epic.
